does that shinra guy....
basically make a driect link between x and vii? i read on wikipedia that he (or his ancestor) founds the shinra company and that basically vii takes place on spira yet years later?

I have absolutely no idea. I just asumed that they used the name as they reuse other names for the familiarity and whatnot....interesting theory I suppose but like, it would have to be many many years later as the whole world if different and isn't the world in VII Gaia anyway.....? Although Im not too sure

i don't believe it myself because where the hell would the life stream come from? and would x be before or after jenova's crash?

Before I suppose, if it were true then at least it could explkain where all the places in X went. Zankarkand is a pretty big place to just dissappear of the map 
Also as you said the lifestream. X people are sent and go to the farplane, in VII they return to the planet
It's just too different for it to be the same place, unless Shinra decided to do a bit of space travel and settle on another planet

No. There is no relation between Shinra the Al Behd and ShinRa the electric company. They're not the same world either. No such link was ever made or even intended to be made, it's a load of crap SquareEnix dreamed up for their Ultimania guide.
You gotta remember something, all that crap SE says in their Ultimania guides is stuff they and people who worked on the games are thinking up long after the games have already been made.
For instance, according to the Ultimania guide to IX, Steiner was orphaned when he was 5 years old due to war between Lindblum, Alexandria and Burmecia. That information, while interesting, was thought up four years after the original game was published. It was never in the game, nor does it have any bearing on it. Most stuff in those guides is dreamed up after the fact and you have to take it all with a grain of salt.

I remember when i was watching Advent Children. The little girl was talking bout' the history of VII and she said something bout' Shinra corp. or some thing like that. >.<

there is no way in hell that FFX and FFVII are related, for starters if they were X would need materia. and if they were linked don't you think the lifestream would have taken care of sin, or maybe the Weapons would have woke up to beat the crap outta Sin.
there just too different so there is no way they could possibly be related
