Dilemma: Enterprise or 100% Completion?

There are many questions I'd like to ask:

Is Enterprise really that important to the game? I'm currently trying to make a tough decision on whether I should start that Hypello mission at Moonflow. By completing it though, I won't be able to get the Enterprise accessory(ies) at the start of Chapter 2 I believe. Can the Enterprise be obtained elsewhere?

Not only do I want to achieve 100% completion, but I also want to face the strongest bosses in the game (optional bosses included). Would fighting them w/out Enterprise be much more difficult?

Also, would opening certain chests in the game affect the % score? I don't want another repeat of that Zodiac Spear nuisance from FFXII going on here.

Since it's your first playthrough, you can't access 100% of the game off the bat. You do on the other hand get to start a new game with the same amount % as your finished game. In turn, you can do everything opposite to get 100% the second time.

But I heard from most FAQs and people arguing that 100% on the first run is indeed quite possible.

I'd go for the 100%, but that might be 'cause I like doing that for all my games. XD I haven't heard about Enterprise, but I do know you can get 100% in the first run, you just gotta be careful. I had to start over 'cause I missed like .7% somewhere and ended up not being able to get the Mascot dressphere. Y.Y

Note: Your only supposed to be able to get 100% siding with the Youth League. If you go with New Yevon, you can only get 98/99% or somethin' like that.

According to the guide in gamefaqs.com, I'm on track to achieve 100% provided that no cockups are made in the forthcoming chapters (currently close to 40% completion).

I've already got my PR to 400 somewhere in Chapter 2, what a way to finish it so early.
