I think that if Yuna and Rikku are cousins that doesn't signify that Brother and Yuna are cousins to. Maybe Brother is Rikku's cousin from her mother side and yuna is here cousin from her father side, so they are not cousins (yuna and brother). But thats my interpretation.

I didn't really understand waht you mean but Brother and Rikku are brother&sister. They are Yuna's mother's brother's children so they are connected somehow which makes it a disgusting crush.

I think it means 'love' as in family love. Brother doesnt know very good english so i think that he doesnt 'love' Yuna and that way... cause that would be really sick.

Well, when looking at X-2, it's pretty obvious that his intentions are more than platonic. Although I would think that incest in Al Bhed culture is less taboo considering that their pool of possible marriages had been quite small as a people excommunicated from general society.
But incest or not, Brother is just plain nasty to me.

LOL this is one of the things that really bothered me about X2. Seriously, everytime Brother flirted with Yuna all I could do was groan. XD
And if you get the sad ending, it is especially creepy.
