I wouldn't want an X-3, no way, I mean they could do something like a prequel like they did with 7 but in my opinion they don't really need to touch on 10 anymore.

I'd love to see anyform of breakdancing to Scatman John. I think that'd be the only way I'd want an X-3. Only if it included the Scatman, if the Scatman can do it, so can you.

I do but I think we can all agree on the fact that X-2 lost its appeal long ago and expanding on that is a terrible idea. If you've noticed, many people consider this to be the worst Final Fantasy - this is the only one without summons. Though there is a good reason, I wonder if there's any connection? xD
I wouldn't mind playing as Braska, Auron and Jecht, though. The only fear I'd have is that there'd be a distinct lack of excitement, given that the outline of the game would be identical and there's almost no room for adding any in - otherwise, Auron would've mentioned it/we would have seen it in a sphere.
On the other hand, I wouldn't mind going further back than that - back to the original Zanarkand - and finding out exactly what happened with Zaon, Yunalesca, Lenne, Shuyin and the Machina War.

No, not really. It would be ok if it was done properly, I guess. If it happens (and I HIGHLY doubt it will) Squeenix' first concern should be fixing Yuna. This will put all Yuna fans at ease and they can go on thinking that X-2 was nothing more than a ..weird phase or something. Second, they'd need a truly epic storyline. The list goes on. 
And like what others have said, a prequal would probably be better. |

God no, I'm sure I've posted something onthe lines of this before, and I still say NO. What's left to cover? Prequels just leave more bloody plot holes with the addition of new characters that were never in the original, and the sequel has already been done which tbh, can't be further explored becauseit was all wrapped up with a fuzzy pink bow at the end of X-2
I'm sure I mentioned Something about FFX - The Sims somewhere, full of affairs, bitch fighs and baby making

You have, I just spent the last 10 minutes hunting the other thread down in the X section and it was in the X-2 section. 
Anyway, I woudn't want an X-3 solely for the fact I don't see what good could come from it, X-2 but a bad mark on X due to the fact it was a squeal which turned out to be a disaster and was just a dire game all-in-all. The only chance I would ever give X-3 is if it was a prequel to X but even then I think the plot would be too similar to that of X so I'd say no.

I definitely don't want an X-3.
Like bambi said, prequels don't work, as we already knows what happens. Anyway they'd probably turn it into a story about Chappu so they'd have an excuse to turn Lulu into a slut.
Also I don't think going back to the original Zanarkand would work, as only Yunalesca appears in FFX. Because Lenne and Shuyin are in FFX-2 is enough reason to not include them in any form of spinoff. It's like trying to make syphilis worse.
So, since there shall be no prequels, we move to sequels. Which could only be Tidus and Yuna having kids, and the kids killing stuff or having a middle aged Tidus and Yuna battling against Seymour who has come back to claim Yuna. Both are absurd
It just would not work.

I don't think that another game would really be needed I really did like the way they ended X-2 (if you got 100% you get to see the real ending, imo; where Yuna actually returns to Tidus is the real ending)
I did find it lovely they way they needed it, no need for moe and I think if they did anything else to the story it would just spoil the whole thing even more.
