It was comical, especially with Zell and the hot dog issue being one of the long running gags in the game, but no, I didn’t really laugh all… Anyway, like most have already said, I was happy to see that Zell finally got his hot dogs.

Eh, if it was meant to be funny, it was one of FFVIII's rare comical moments here. I didn't really laugh at the scene, I just sorta shrugged it off and kept watching. I hardly remember it though since it has been a while since I played and completed FFVIII.

my two funniest scenes were zell choking and when seifer just slams his fishing rod down and fujin kicks raijin in the water
but yeah zell finally got his hot dogs 
after that the scene kept popping into my head and giving me giggles

thinking about it there are quite afew scenes with zell that made me giggle, like when they are in the prison and rinoa asks him if he recognises the place and he's thinking to himself 'of all the stupid---' then he realises that he was ward as a janitor there once
