That is correct sir!

You have to ring the bell in the painting room with one party and then use the other party to move into the church and touch the statue in order for the battle to start!

A few Armaggedon fists later Omega will be owned just like that!

Hmm...after gettin' my ass handed to me on a silver platter at least 20 times, I manage to figure out Omega's pattern of attacks and gave it to him. He was a worthy opponent indeed...

First time took me ages and many tries. When i did the game again i was prepared, it only took me a few turns. Aura is THE best spell on the game

A'yo, you can say that again! I put Aura on Quistis and us Mighty Guard which transfered the Aura to my entire party. Then Rinoa used Invisible Moon and Squall cast Meltdown on Omege. After that, I used as many limit breaks as I could have possibly done. After Invicible Moon wore off, Omega got me and Phoenix revived my party. I tried to heal but he got me again and Rinoa used Angelo Reverse. Omega took out Rinoa for the third time and Phoenix revived me again. Omega hit Squall knocking him out and Rinoa used Invicible Moon on her and Quistis. Quistis woke Squall up and Rinoa uses Curaga on Squall right after I manage to do a round of Renzokuken and Lion Heart. By this time, I hit Omega with 12 different Limit Breaks and he's still standing. Then, I used Wising Star with Rinoa and Beat him! Man I was happy!!!

What you need to do is to have Zell at low hp cast aura on him and then use a holy war on your party this way Zells duel time will increase making the battle faster!

I used Squall, Quistis, and Rinoa. Squall used an aura on quistis, quistis used Mighty Guard and Rinoa used Wishing Star.

Squall used Renzokuken, and (thanks to knowing the proper pattern and good timing) Lionheart, Quistis used Shockwave Pulsar, and Rinoa switched between Holay wars and her Angelo Limit break.

Ater trying this same tactic (almost literally)30000000 times I learned his pattern, altered the pattern of attack appropriatelly, and eventually took him down! He was no easy opponent!

Of course -- just like the rest of the game Squall did all the work while the others acted as decoys.

I beat omega without the cheats in about 20 mins...........with all the characters at 100 percent stregnth and everything it took me 2 mins.......was so hilarious......

omega was a piece of cake.

here are some hints if you can't beat him:

-get the gilgamesh card and refine the 10 holy wars, use them.
-get the bahamut card and refine the 100 mega-elixers, use them.
-have doomtrain, summon it.
-have auras and cast them on squall, make sure he has lionheart.
-summon eden over and over.

with this strategy you pretty much can't lose unless somethhing goes horribly wrong.
