Was this the scariest moment for a lead character in the ff series?
When Squall gets hit by that huge icicle through his chest and falls down? I knew he wasnt dead but i thought hed be seriously injured......man that point in that game came out of nowhere and scared the heck out of me...........did this scare anyone else?

This moment scared me too
At the end of the game when he was having all those "flashbacks" at the same time, in that spacesuit when something seemed to have exploded on him, i thought he was dead right then and there right before the ending scenes came on and the song........did this scare anyone else? I seriously for the first time almost fell backwards off my chair!  |

Um, no that didn't scare me at all. And from my understanding, that was Rinoa in the spacesuit as her helmet exploded. (Hallucination, maybe?) Notice that Squall's tears came rushing down real quick.
I still don't fully understand the whole flashback scenes...I know it has to do with time, but it really confused me. But of course, there are many theories about the ending.

Er no. xD It was a bit shocking, yes...and totally unexpected, but it didn't scare me one bit. And like you, I knew he wasn't dead either. I mean, the game barely started, so I knew he was going to be alright. (The discs were rather short, if you ask me.)
The scene was a bit dramatic - what with Rinoa's reaction and all. Actually, I think that scene was one of my favorites.

Didn't scare me one bit, really. (right  )
Though I'm pretty sure that must've hurt him and some people who viewed it just because he was the main character and all.

it didn't scare or shock me, i mean obviously he wasn't dead and even if he was injured, what did that really matter? for some reason when it happened, i just sorta went meh, and put the 2nd disc in.

No, I didn't think it was the scariest thing to happen to a Final Fantasy character lol. I think there has been a lot worse than that actually. I knew he was going to live considering he is the main character and that was no where near the end of the game. That scene was very surprising though, very unexpected. I bet it hurt a bit!

Yeah.. I didn't really get scared by it, I was just confused and a little surprised as to what was going on. I didn't know what was going on, whether he was dead or just unconscious! I'm glad he was okay though lol, I knew he was alright after Rinoa came over to him. The look on her face made it obvious in my opinion.
