| Final Fantasy VIII The first game in the series to consistently use realistically proportioned characters, FF8 also threw more of a futuristic mix into the old (Hi-)potion that is Final Fantasy. |

well, my little story goes like:
i was late getting my FF8, and my friend is already up to ultimecia, ready to kick her arse for the 2nd time. he's trying to show off lionheart to me, and never got it, and nearly got killed himself. Anyway, when he was about to die (right after armageddon), I asked him for the controller to try, and he said i need to trigger.....
obviously i didn't know how, so i missed the renzokuken bar completely, he just laughed at me. but then lionheart came out....the funny thing is, my friend thought you need a perfect renzokuken to pull off lionheart, so he was surprised too.
that's it, ultimecia got pwned again. i bet it's the stuff of nightmares for last bosses....it's like they're praying it wont come out.

I used it once and never again. I still won't use it even in my fights versus Omega. I know it's powerful, but it didn't make the fights fun for me so I just held it in my back-pocket just incase i was about to have my whole party wiped out at the last minute.
It was a good limit if you just wanted to fly through a battle, but it took away the challenge of the fight for me so I used it once basically and it was one-and-done for me.

How'd the hell did ya kill Omega? He was bloody hard with Lionheart, so it must have been a hellova long battle without it!

If you have plenty of hero drinks then you won't really die on Omega anyway As long as you use them on time that is

My first time seeing Leonheart was after having beaten the game. Then I went and got everyone's finals and tested out abilities. I liked Irvine a lot more after that. lol.

Getting Lionheart on 1st disc was the greatest feeling in the world. When I realized I would hit Sacred and Minotaur on the heads with Lionheart, I was drooling even harder.
I'm not lying here, folks. You can get Lionheart reasonably early on disc one.

Lionheart is like....haha, the big "it" in this game. Even Ultimecia, like chanchook said, is probably praying she won't have to deal with it.
Honestly though, it's a lifesaver when it comes out against ANY boss for the most part, especially if you're leveled pretty well and such and have Squall's ultimate weapon.

It certainly looks appealing, but I'm not too keen on the randomness of the limit break, Lionheart. I prefer Zell's 'Duel'; you can potentially deal more damage than both Renzokuken and Lionheart combined.
Ultimecia is easy even without Lionheart. Personally, I feel that the weapons damage output isn't significant compared to the Revolver....
