I found the dog to not be that useful, but it didn't harm the game any, and it was quite sweet - made for something a bit different anyway to have one of the characters have a pet like that.

i found rinoas little doggie to be cute yet pointless although ive only finished Disk 2 so i havnt had a chance to see angelos true power - but MEH he still does rubbish damage but the noveltys awesome

The limit helped me when I got in some tight spots in the game when I used Rinoa, but I got sick of the dog after a while, and he would come at some really bad times when I'd be facing an enemy

Yeah I guess you can call it 'cute', but it was pointless for me. I never used Limits in this game; hardly even Squall's. Collecting the issues of Sports Illustrated or whatever was alright, but, it coulda been better.
