I doubt it.
It just seems WAY to improbable; granted Cid showed some slight fatherly attention towards Seifer a little when he encourages him even after the exam (and he had his card think...), but I can't really see it.
And I think it's a popular theory among fans that sorceresses aren't able to have children or something.
I think the only blood ties revealed in the story are Squalls', and even that is rather subtle.

Hey that does make sense...if Laguna has Squall's card, and he's his father...then maybe Cid having Seifer's card says something. ^.^
But I honestly don't see a resemblance between Squall and Edea...maybe there's a small resemblance between Seifer and Cid; with the light hair...maybe...

You didn't say whether they were biological or not. Since Cid and Edea raised him, it doesn't matter. And if we're talkin' biological, he's as clear as "Chicken-wuss"'s biological parents.

Um, Squall can't be Edea and Cid's kid because his parents are Laguna and Raine. It hints strongly so in the game.
And I like that theory about the card - Cid having Seifer's card, therefore it might be a possibility that Seifer's parents could very well be Edea and Cid. It makes sense a little, but again, I really doubt it. I just like to stick with the fact that Seifer's parents weren't mentioned in the game at all, and that's that.

About the whole card thing.... Rinoa's card belong to her dad, Squall's card belong to Laguna, and Zell's card belong to his mother. Seifer's card belonging to Cid because that might be his son is only one clue. I can't think of any clues that would hint Seifer's parents is Cid and Edea.
Why would Edea and Cid be lying to Seifer about not having any parents? Remember, he was an orphan too being taken care of by Edea. If Cid and Edea were Seifer's parents then wouldn't Square add hints through the game?

i don't think he is, it would explain his psychotic behavior though as Cid and Edea are possibly 2 of my least favorite characters and their kid would just be screwed up completely.

Hopefully you already played the whole game, but on disc2 or 3 i think, Everyone finds out that Edea is really their guardian from their childhood orphanage. and I am pretty sure Seifer has something for Edea.
