Quistis' Shocwave Pulsar & Degenerator
Has anyone managed to get Shockwave Pulsar for quistis? Iv read that you need to refine 100 curse spikes into Dark Matter but THAT DOESN'T WORK........i dont think iv ever even come across a dark matter in this game, any help would be appreciated. 'Cause to be quite honest its been driving me mad for the past 8 or however many years iv owned the game
Degenerator is brill tho - that makes up for my not having it yay. That is the best limit break for levelling up RAPID on the islands closest to heaven & hell - does anyone else agree or do they just think im a lazy leveller

Lol... Working on that limit break for eight years...?
Yes, I did get all of her limits, but then again, I always max out every character in a FF.
Anyway, you need Siren’s Tool-RF ability learned and I think she must be maxed at level 100 in order to refine the 100 Cursed Spikes to 1 Dark Matter. As for getting Cursed Spikes, fight lots of Death Claw’s, Marlboro’s or Forbidden’s...

Not really, I always find some way of exploiting the leveling process short of actually cheating.

As F.F.Fan said, it's just a matter of patience. I aquired all of my curse spikes in the Deep Sea Research Center. There you can find these reddish-brown colored monsters on four legs with two or three heads. (I forget how many heads they have. ^.^) You encounter them about once out of every three battles in the lower levels of the facility. For each of these baddies that you beat, you win about 2-3 curse spikes. The mug ability makes it much easier as well. ^.^
