That is simply brilliant! I never thought of that at all. I honestly thought shit maybe I'd failed the mission, then the game returned to Squall and I thought at least those lot are still alive, let's carry on

when it first happened i thought to myself youve got to be kidding i havent saved the game in ages then it went to squall and i was relieved and the first thing i did was save lol

My initial reaction was "Geez, these guys really ARE trying to eliminate everyone in the story except Squall and Rinoa!" I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if those two were the only ones who made it to the end of Disc 4. However, like a lot of you guys, I realized how poorly executed their deaths would have been if they really were dead. I mean, really, what kind of RPG kills off three of your six Player Characters at one time? Not to mention that I, too, saw their names on the Menu.

i knew they won't die because there was no point if they died. First of all because you choose witch one will go there, so they had to make more movies with different characters till the end of the game...

and that would be pretty much movies with a combination of characters

It's very similar to the bit at the end of the missile base where you have to move squall and the submerge system is running, which is a bit lame I felt, since there's no way of telling where you need to move him to to avoid getting game over.
