Yeah I remember that too, I kept trying to get through that area but it wouldn't let me lol. I think it has something to do with the Lunar Cry as well, I don't think they ever told us why it was there. That's what I believe it is from but I suppose it could be anything. It looks like an earthquake struck that area! I know bombs destroyed Trabia Garden and such, maybe a missile struck that place as well.

Wasn't the previous Lunar Cry at the Centa RUins???

And i remember taht crater being there and it irrited me when i couldn't get past it and thought maybe its some secret? It did just look the same as the crater at Balamb tho. Dunno why the controls go off on one tho, 'casuse they don't at Balamb....

I think it's prolly just there to stop you getting to Esthar....

The last Lunar Cry was at the Centra Ruins 80 years prior to the game. The one before that was in Trabia, 400 years prior.

I think the crater is missed potential. It could have been a side quest or something. God knows what it is. All i know is that it cant be where trabia garden was because trabia never moved and if it had, wouldnt all the missiles have hit that one spot and not Trabia? Just a thought.

.....everytime i play it i always try to get over that crater....like it's really gunna let me...but i just think, its worth another go. I am such a weapon lol
