has anyone actually obtained Minimog in this game?!

Has anyone actually even aquired the gf minimog in this game?

I have never even seen the damn thing except in a card (which if there is no gf why is it a gf card?!). I have heard rumours that while in the wild a pethouse will appear and you feed it 5 elexirs and out pops minimog? Funnily enough it doesnt even sound real. I have even tested out this theory and well i still havent seen anything at all!!!
Me and my 3 mates have clocked the game countless times and just started to search for the mysterious minimog gf and none of us have even come close. This really annoys me so can anyone either confirm this story or just tell me what ya think. Thanks a plenty.

I've never seen it before and I tried but nothing happened. You never know but it might work if you do different things. You never know...you never know...you never know...

Don't you need an External device thing - i forget the name - to unlock this GF? Something that was never released outside Japan?

It's a pocket...something ><

But i don't think you can get minimog in the game..or if you summon it using a cheat disk your game would crash

You got that mixed up. That is with a random encounter called Pupu. He's a little alien. It's a side quest where you run around the five different area. You see a UFO and you attack the UFO on the fifth encounter. You run around where Balamb Garden use to be and you give him five elixirs and he gives you an item.

There is no way you can get Minimog besides playing the JFFVIII Japanese version. (I think it works in the American version as well.) You have to have a pocket Playstation to do the side quest to obtain Minimog as a summon. This goes as well for getting the item to summon Moomba as a non-junction guardian force.

I have, actually. You can summons MiniMog, but he's technically not a GF (I think). If I remember correctly, it's a GF command learned using a Mog's Amulet.

Anyway, all I remember him doing is a small dance or something and it restored all the HP to all GF's, that and it cost me some Gil...

Now getting a Mog's Amulet, I can't remember lol...

I had all the cheats to this game and like someone else just said hes not a GF.......i forget what he actually does though.

I have never obtained MiniMog. I think it's threw Pocket Station. The thing that was never released in the US. So lame. haha.

He probably wasn't that useful anyways.

I never obtained him either, simply because I don't know how to get it. It doesn't worry me that much either way. He probably wasn't very useful as stated above, just like ChocoMog from Final Fantasy VII.

minimog was something you got when you visited the chocobo forests, the choco boy gives him to you, he was called boko and you could call him in battle by using gyshal greens.

You could also do stuff with the pocket station thing with him as said above, but i didnt have one of those so iv no idea what it was all about

That is how you get Mini-Mog in the American version...I wonder if the Japanese version is a different summon, or is it the same thing?
