GF Junctions - Page 2

At the very start of the game, it was always Squall/Quazacolt, Selphie/Shiva & Zell/Ifrit.

However, later on I always junctioned my main party as follows:

Squall with Bahamut, Eden & Doomtrain.

Rinoa with Shiva, Diabols & Alexander.

Irvine with Leviathan, Cerberus & Brothers'

If you're talking about Zell's tattoo, it's black.

You could say that the front spikes of his hair look like flames, though.

Lol, yeah it kills me when I have to rearrange GFs. There are just some GF's that don't feel right with certain people.

To tell the truth....my Squall got Ifrit because Ifrit is the tough type(just like Squall) and has the STR-J from the begining. And later I gave Squall Shiva(because he needs a woman....even if she is a GF or a human) and the rest of the GFs go randomly or depending on the needs of each character.

Zell is like a symbol of fire to me.He has that fire spirit inside of him.Plus,he has that red mark on his left cheek and red is a color that represents fire,so that's why Zell always has ifrit.

If I ever tried to switch it,it would drive me nuts.

So what did you do when you got better GFs? Did you just totally ignore Bahamut, Doomtrain, Eden and the like?

I had to stick Ifrit and Shiva on Squall.
and once I got Irvine, he had Diablos and Brothers. All the other GFs i switched around or had on my third party member, who was always different.

Squall--Diablos
Zell--ifrit
Riona--Shiva
Irvine--bahamut
ect

each person had the own extension of his or her personality(GF) which in turn when i defeated diablos it was with squall(his extension) and with other cases cerberus and one special GF i found

Hrmm...If I tried to switch it would drive me crazy as well.

Just like when I split up and had to change my junctions, it felt uber weird.

For some reason I always thought that certain GF's belonged with certain characters.
I couldn't imagine having Shiva with squall, because I always junction him to Quezacotl XD

The useless GF's I always put with the useless characters! For example, Siren with Selphie; what a combination of crap!

Oh gosh, I honestly don't remember...

I know that I'd always give Shiva to Quistis and Quezacotl will be with Squall or Zell, along with Ifrit. I tend to switch them around during the early points of the game (I know, I shouldn't...).

The stronger ones usually goes with my weaker characters. I just think it balances it out, since I level all my characters up. So for instance, Bahamut or Eden will be with Rinoa and all she can do is simply use summon or magic, while Squall mainly attacks.

So it's really all about planning for me.

In any random order

Squall-quezacotl, eden, bahamut, doomtrain, tonberry
Zell-ifrit, brothers, cerberus, cactuar
Rinoa-shiva, siren, pandemona, leviathan

that is the setup I always have
