When do you recruit Yuffie? I tend to get her as soon as I am on my way to Junon (Which is the first time you can actually recruit Yuffie) and she is normally my second/Third highest leveled character. Once she was even higher than Cloud when I got out of Midgar at about level 15.

Anyway, I kind of like Yuffie. I always liked her in the game but when I saw Advent Children, I suddenly grew a bit of dislike to her as I just thought she was an annoying little bitch but in the actual game, I do like her. She usually remains in my party until I get Cid (That's if I didn't get Vincent before Cid but I usually do).

I really dont know why people hate her so much. "ZOMG BITCH STOLED MAH MATERIA!!!11!!!1!!!!" Yeah.....so what? It's not the end of the world. You're still as strong as you were without it, just dont have all your fancy shmancy spells. If you wanna deal elemental damage to Cornelio's new pet, buy some items that deal elemental damage. Dur. Things are way too easy with materia anyway, the wutai sidequest is probably the only challenging part of the game.

Yuffie was not mentioned as much maybe because she IS an optional character. Not everyone got her. >_>;;

She did have alot of personality and she was pretty strong and quick. It was nice, but since Tifa and Aerith had more development than she did, they got more attention.

Yuffie is forgotten, because she wasnt really a love interest in the story, let alone a main character. Yes, in KH shes a great, and fighting her and Squall is much fun, but in FFVII, she has little role to play. She is a side character, and mostly a kid. Maybe theyll give her a ninja game some day like they gave Vincent a game.

I always recruit Yuffie before I head off to Junon. I used her once in replay. I didn't think she was too bad, she was rather strong. In disk two you were able to get her Final weapon the sunken ship, which made her pretty strong for the rest of disk two.

i'd say it probably has a lot to do with the fact that she was an extra, optional character. this takes away from her significance in the story, and im sure there are people that never even get her into their party. i thought she was a good character, but IMO, not as good as aerith or tifa. for me, she is very overshadowed by those 2.

I guess people just dont see Yuffie as an important character as she didnt stand out as much as Tifa and Aeris. Plus shes an optional character, so maybe that has something to do with people not focusing on her as much.

Personaly, I think the reason why people leave her out is that she really wasn't connected to Cloud in any way. Aerith had a thing with Cloud...really because he reminded her of Zack but thats not the point. Aerith had a thing with Cloud, and Tifa and Cloud grew up together. Maybe? I really can't say because different people would say Tifa vs. Aerith instead of Tifa vs. Yuffie for different reasons.

They were going to be included in the final scene but they ran out of time because they were fast approaching the deadline (thats what i heard anyway) Altho, Vincent gets a hell of a lot more recognition for a side character, i personally think he is fab, saying that he is actually connected to the storyline. Yuffie was just like totally random. You can completely miss Wutai out if you want. She is pretty cool tho, and i personally do like her she can be quite handy in battle and you cant get leviathan without her either. Anyway, I think i may be completely waffling on now!!
