Well it sounds ok but - if they made a game like this i would lose all my respect for SE - yes theyve whored out FFVII enough but at least theyve all been RPG games - making a racing/fighting game would be inexcusable.

No more games! Maybe if they woulda put these ideas into the Golden Saucer part of FFVII then it coulda been cool. Making a whole separate game for it though...ehhh, not so much.

I agree with Busta, it would have been fine in the Golden Saucer, but not as it's own game. Unless you went high graphics, large scale race tracks, or something to that extent that wouldn't allow it to be a part of such a small scale mini game. If that's the case, maybe they can throw it in with the remake of FFVII for the PS3 that no one can decide whether or not is going to happen. Playing them as a mini game in the Golden Saucer would be kind of fun, and the PS3 would allow the game to hold all of that extra content. The best part is that a mini game wouldn't change the story, and would therefore make me happy if a remake ever was created.
