Hello, i have a small problem. I got pretty far in the game. I'm in the 70th floor of the shinra building, and I just killed the hundred, and heli gunner. and then it says press [MENU] to access the menu, then press [SWITCH] to remove materia from other party members, and [START] to end.
And I do all that stuff and it doesn't work. Can someone please give me a more specific discription of that info step-by-step? THANKS! oh and sorry for it sayin FFVI i meant FFVII

SO, are you saying you're having trouble switching materia in the game, or it's not letting you go any farther in the game for some reason?

I'm having trouble removing materia. I need to know what to press.

Yes i am just about to fight rufus. I just don't know what to press.

1.press [SWITCH]
2. go to menu
3. Equip materia
4.Press [START]

I think i had this problem before.But it was a very long time ago. When it says do you want to swich materia i thought you just press no cause it will keep asking you, anyway sorry if that don't work i ain't played it in agers. Try using google to find a guide to it and see what that says.

You could easily just take the materia off of the characters by pressing the "Triangle" button if the switch option isn't coming to ya yet.
