Amen to the intro people! WHOOO! I'm so happy to hear people say that. It was really just so awesome. You know it's Nobuo's favorite introduction FMV? Ah man, so great. It's what got me hooked. The beginning space part wasn't so great but when they showed Aeris in Midgar and the mako reactors... and then Shinra headquaters... and zooming in on the train. Oh man... you can't beat it. It's so incredibly awesome.

Unoriginal but it was the intro for me too, amazing futuristic city, then a train and OMG its zooming in on the train and OMFG, I'm jumping out of the train I just saw from about a mile up!!!! Blew me away, still does.
