They are whoring it for the munny. They KNOW the fans will buy it, hell Im sick of all the sequels but I still buy them because I cant help myself

I don't think they ever forgot about it, Im sure they haven't forgot about the others either, yet they haven't needed a thousand spin offs. I honestly think all this game needed was like a sequel for closure and that's it. Oh and a remake, that goes wothout saying.

As for new fans, that's what the remake would bring in. They should know when to stop

There's leik, five (give or take a few) damn games of Final Fantasy VII and a movie. That's not 'milking it a little bit'.

Final Fantasy VII isn't the epitome of epic win, in fact it's quite fail with all the bullshit they keep adding to it. All that they really should've ever released is Advent Children and Crisis Core, coz nao we have all this bullshit with vincent, weiss, and Genisis with the secret ending of Dirge of Cerberus and Hajime Tabata the director of Crisis core has said they're not done whoring the compilation, so they've probably got one or two more Final Fantasy VII games on the way.

Before you know it, Final Fantasy VII will BE the Final Fantasy series.

A little bit? I would not call AC, Last Order, Dirge of Cerberus, Dirge of Cerberus: Lost Episode, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, Final Fantasy VII Snowboarding and the two novellas a little.

Are you that oblivious? It's for money, that's it. They haven't forgotten about anything, they're remaking practically all the oldschool FFs. I only hope to god that they DO somehow forget about IX.

i'm starting to hate Final Fantasy VII since the compilation came out. I even stupidly bought into it; AC and DoC.

i'm glad to be one of the gamers who got FF7 before the compilation came to be, but i probably wouldn't play it again much since it'll remind me of the monotonous DoC and the nomurafied CC.

GAAAAH, before long we could see a Midgar MMO on the horizon, but luckily, MMO's don't do well at all in japan so we're pretty safe on that front. as for a FF7 remake, i doubt it would happen, maybe on a PS4 / PS5 perhaps, but i would physically melt the game if it happens, and youtube it too!

What really baffles me is all these people who are introduced to VII through Advent Children, and when you ask if they even got it they say they understood it perfectly. Lying little twats probably didn't do anything but wank to the visuals. It would be impossible to understand AC without playing VII first, even I got lost a few times in it and I've played VII.

If you've seen "The Animatrix" they have a different art style for each short. I think SE is trying to replicate that in game form.. but instead of art style, they change the gaming style. Now Final Fantasy VII is SE's baby, therefore they're not gonna be quick to make a colossal bad desicion like make a puzzle game or MMO or something like that apart of the compilation. So when they decided to make each game different, i think they thought this out well and planned out which games are gonna be made and how they will play. So we aren't gonna see anything ridiculous. Every story i enjoyed so far and i remain blissful because all the new content SE is giving us. So how can u not be greatful, who cares if they're "milking" it. SE is giving you good new content about a Story everyone loves. Without any offence intended please stop all your bitching. If you don't like one or two of the games, thats your preference not SE's fault. If you thought everything in the compilation sucked, frankly your opinion does not matter because odds are you don't like Final Fantasy VII or the whole series. If you Like them then I just don't see why your complaining.

dont agree with me, fine.... but really, what odds does it make. People keep buying these FFVII games so they'll keep making them until the ultimate end to the compilation which is a remake of FFVII...
