Is being a !st class soldier a rank or does it mean your in a rgiment called "1st class"

I'd love to play it but i cant find a copy, and right now im preoccupied with FF12 and i hardly get the time to play that these days with work and stuff like that. The only other FF i played was FF10

I think the lowest rank in Soldier is 3rd class, then there´s 2nd class and finally 1st class soldier which only a few can reach.

And don't get caught up with the misinterpretation that the men in blue are SOLDIERs either. They are not members of SOLDIER, just a military for ShinRa. Cloud failed at getting into SOLDIER and ended up in there
