Problem with Installation
I bought Final Fantasy 7 the other day for the PC, and was trying to install it. But, as soon as I pressed the install button, it crashed to the desktop, and it didn't install. I tried again multiple times without success. Help?

You need the windows XP patch for FFVII to work on newer PCs, you can download it for free, i think theres a guide and a link at Gamefaqs

this probably isn't the most helpful answer, but I feel personally that just getting the playstation version is the best option.

I agree to above statement. I also agree that you should talk to the Technical Staff. They have all the answers. Then, you can sue em.
