So who do you think in terms of STATS his the most welll rounded character?

I would have to say Cloud because is a good overall character at everything and as the second most powerful strike if i´m not mistaken.

I also think Vincent comes in second because his a good mage as well as a good fighter.


The most unbalanced character to me is Aeris great magic and MP, but poor HP and streght...

What do you guys think? please state your opinions!

In my game I'm playing now Red XIII/ Nanaki is most balanced along with Cloud.

Vincent's HP is quite low (I did not forget to remove the materia, no).

Since cloud is mian I'm going for nanaki =)

In my opinion, the most balanced are: Cid, Cloud, Barret, Red X111, Tifa.

The least balanced: Cait Saith, Aeris, Yuffie, Vincent.

Everyone's grudge: Vincent's HP is quite low


Infact, Vincent's HP mirrors Cloud's HP. In other words if Cloud is on, say level 20 when Vincent joins your party, Vincent's Level will automatically be about the same to Cloud's... It's the games way of leveling out the stats...

I know that chip but this is what I found interesting and quite strange to me: these are facts ina game I'm right now in (at the great glacier). My characters are all around lvl 40 and these are their HP stats going from lowest to highest after unequipping all materia and not having any other HP/MP modifiers by any means.

2068: Vincent lvl 38
2124: Yuffie lvl 38
2153: Tifa lvl 38
2486: Cid lvl 39
2544: Red XIII lvl 39
2593: Barret lvl 38
2625: Cait Sith lvl 38
3003: Cloud lvl 44

I think this is the right order when the chars were all the same lvl as I dont see vincent, tifa nor yuffie pass Cid in HP by growing 1 level. I guess only cloud is in danger by cai sith and Barret which I think would surpass him in HP at equal level (maybe Red XIII) as well.
bea rin mind that around lvl 30 (when I got Vincent) his HP was higer than Aeris' and Yuffie's but slightly under Tifa's and was playing over/unbder the whole time with Tifa which stopped about 3 lvls ago, now Yuffie has surpassed him for the 1st time.

Assuming that all FF have the same system (low HP ==> high magic, low physical and high HP ==> low magic, high physical) the most balanced chars would be:

- Cloud
- Red XIII
- Cid
- Tifa

And I guess that's quite right altho cait sith isnt rlly a good attacker so the explanation might differ a bit but as I see it, these ' are the most balanced chars (Tif ahas slightly lower strength but makes up with speed comparing to other balanced chars).
