Haha, you do have a point with the square and making their girls look prettyful.
Yeah but don't you think that's being a bit big headed? If someone helps you out it doesn't mean they're trying to get into your pants (all of the time anyway).
But yeah overall i think there was a crush going on, but I dunno, call me a pessimist, I don't think love at first sight exists, and also the situation and circumstances weren't ideal for anything to develop.

Hmm, I have to agree with SpyforShinra here. It makes more sense to call it a "crush" than "love" simply because the Cloud and Jessie pairing weren't ideal for the whole storyline and circumstances. I only saw them talking a few times and not once did I get the idea that she might have had a crush on him. O.o So I certainly wouldn't call it love.

Realistically, how can you? You can get attracted to people from a distance, but you can't fall in love with them because you don't actually know them or their personalities or their mannerisms etc.

I beg to differ on this. You never know it exists until it happens to you. I saw this girl at the local movie theater way back in 2004. Just looking at her, this feeling I cant explain to this day came over me. We're still together, and getting engaged this year.
Love at first sight happens. Weird circumstances drives people together, and sometimes those people are perfect for each other. Doesnt always happen, but it does exist. I used to think it didnt until it happened to me. |

The point still remains, Cloud didn't have any of that feeling back for Jessie. Jessie might have felt an instant connection to Cloud but that doesn't neccessarily mean it's love. It's just a strong attraction that's more than skin deep. She could have had that for Cloud... but he didn't have it back... and it certainly wasn't "love".

He didnt love her, but I think she loved him. Not just as a little crush love, but as a friendship love as well. Even though he was a new member of AVALANCHE, she had a thing for him, right up until the moment she died.
But its all good, some people think she loved him, others thought it was just a crush. Something to get the fanfiction writers up and going on! lol |
