Unfortunately, most videogame slangers don't sell PS1 games anymore. I actually have to drive an hour out of the way to reach an imported game store that sells factory wrapped new copies of SNES and PS1 games. The problem is...they all sell for around 75-120 bucks.
FFVII and Tactics are the most expensive games. =\

If I were you, I'd buy the factory sealed one. I don't trust used games at all. I'm very paranoid because I know for a fact that overused discs can in fact freeze the entire game. It's all about making wise choices, buddy.

You won't find a new copy of FFVII for under $50 dollars ANYWHERE. You could either fork up the money and keep it in good condition, or buy a used version for $15-20 dollars.
Ebay is full of used games.
