Omg?!! Firs people call him "emo", then a "nerd" ?? What's up with that...
If he was emo he would never have had the will power to stand up to Sephiroth, or anyone of those guys, he would have just said something in the lines of, "It's a shitty world, we're all gonna die .." and just get killed by a mouse He is bad ass and that's final. Plus who wouldn't be depressed if they found out that they were a clone, a failed experiment, and had his childhood hero, Sephiroth, destroy his home vilage, and kill his best friend.
And nerd?!! Yes I agree that he is a bit antisocial, but that is just the reason that he doesn't know what to say at times and seems dumb, plus no nerd can kill the likes of Bahamut and Sephiroth and, except maybe Harry Potter , has saved the world twice.

2. oh really? the game doesn't describe him THAT much.
3. Typical? way more realistic that any other protagonist i've seen.
4. HE SAVED THE WORLD AND FORMED A PARTY OF THE BEST AND YOU CALL HIM THAT??!?1!1!
5. His memories & personality is jumbled up. you can't blame him for that.

I really don’t seem cloud as a nerd; he may have made dorky comments or done some silly thing in the game, but not enough to label him as an all out nerd. If anything, like the majority of the opinions in this thread, he’s a loner.
