I could see that working well in a spin-off, especially one that focuses on one character. I wouldn't mind playing a psp spin off that had an adaptation of KH's battle system.

NEVER!!! I love FF7's battle system, sure, maybe they have used it in every FF since 4 (except for 10), but none the less, I still love it.

Sure, KH battle system was great, mixing RPG with button smashing, but I'd like to keep the battle system the way it is

Lmao, just call it KHIII:The terrible FFVII remake. That would truly ruin the game. I hated the KH battle system. That said, I didn't like my sister's KH either. KH is just FF.lite...

The FFX battle system would be a nifty idea, that was deefinately the best of the bunch IMO

Can you really imagine FFVII working like that? Cloud doing a forward roll in the air and stuff. I can't imagine it and the only way it could work with three characters is if it worked final fantasy XII style and I didn't care much for that XP And if you use them like Donald and Goofy (NPC's) it would mean I wouldn't be able to control Nanaki XP

Not a chance! It sounds horrible.

Though I did like the sound of a spin-off.

Possibly a spin off of KH could work on a system similar to FF7 as well, as I think that would be a pretty cool game to play

(Equip the skills you learn like materia equiped and such)

Ideas like these tend to sound great in the beginning, then becoming repetetive and boring later on.

IMO the KH battle system sucks, the battle system used in the current version VII is the best one that has been used yet in any game in the series, no more changes PLEASE
