In the game, he seemed a bit more forward, like he had this really important mission to complete.

In the movie, he was all depressed and stuff, then suddenly, he goes back to acting the way he did in the game.

So my opinion? The same. They're both basically the same; Cloud was just having a bad time for a while.

i prefer cloud in the game i rekon he got depressed in the film as he had nout to do lol so all he could think of was aeris, whilst in the game he had a constant mission. always thought he was a great main character
not the typical heroic guy but one with deeo emotional and mental problems... makes a good game

I simply liked them both. even though cloud has changes in his mood to being depressed and sad in advent children that can be explained. we all go through changes in mood and behaviour, so that came as no surprise to me.

I thought he was slightly more cheery in the game, he even cracked a joke or two. He still wasn't really happy though, he seemed closer to his friends in the game while in the movie he is very distant. I suppose he was depressed in the movie as well due to having Geostigma, he may have thought there was no possible cure and was going to die from it. Plus he may not have wanted others to worry or pity over him.

I love Cloud in both!

FF7 - "Let's mosey!" He,he,he...

FF7:AC - "There's not a thing I don't cherish!"

He was Cloud in both and that was enough to make me like him in both the game and movie.Oh,and at the end of the credits in AC,when everyone took that photo together,Cloud did his SOLDIER pose.That was a sign that he felt better.Cloud was Cloud in both ( I think he smiled in the picture,too! )
