I really don't think they will make one anyway, they update the graphics of one dam scene in FFVII to show off what they can do (which was ages ago) and BAM! everyone thinks theres gonna be a remake. Since the wee film has there been any other news or clips or something?

I will say no more on the matter.

theres a reason why theres alot of things we dont understand about the original game. if you played through it and understood every part of the game...it still doesnt make sense, there are some loop holes. there will be a remake, just not now but for sure in later future when SE is not as filled with projects to do.

I did not read through all 40+ pages of this thread so I do not know if I'm posting something already mentioned.

Hironobu Sakaguchi - Game Producer, Original Scenario Concept. He won't be back, he's at Mistwalker

Yoshinori Kitase - Game Director, Scenario writer. He's producing FFXIII and is also working on the FFVII Compilation. I see no reason for him not to work on a FFVII remake in a Producer/Director role.

Tetsuya Nomura - Character Designer, original scenario concept. I could see him lend any help if needed, aside from him working on any future KH games.

Kazushige Nojima - Scenario writer, event planner. He has since begin to work as a Freelancer. Square-Enix can hire him for this just like they have done for other games since he left SE in October of 2003: Crisis Core, KHII, FFXIII, Before Crisis, Chain of Memories, and Advent Children.

Yoshitaka Amano - Image Illustrator, title logo designer. If needed he is also went Freelance. He has also worked on FFXII, and the three FFXIII games.

Nobuo Uematsu - composer. I believe he too is also Freelance.

If the remake does happen I think it would be in pretty good hands

What loop holes exactly you are talking about? I understand pretty much everything, ending is a bit shady to me but otherwise I undestand all. Well some is assumptions but not everything needs to looked with a magnifying class. (sorry didn´t know how to say one good saying in english so I came up with a magnifying class)

Most of it makes sense. There were a few unfinished bits but this was all little snippets not completed by Squaresoft in the rush to release the game. All the essential elements were intact though.
