FF7 Spin-offs - Page 2

How Square could put some of the spin-offs on a mobile phone really blows my mind. I always hated the idea of playing sequels to such a good game on a cell phone where you have to squint to see what's on the screen, and you forget which button does what and all that.

I actually like the psp too. I've played FF1, FF2, and Tactics on it, and they are all stunningly beautiful. The screen is plenty big, and it's actually quite fun to play on. I'll go for something like a psp, but a cell phone no way.

yeah i totally agree.

Personally, if it was up to me and i was the head of Square-Enix, i'd make them do the following:

1) release ALL (every single FF game ever made) on 3 Blu Ray disks.

2 Blu Ray disk with all the games (from the gameboy games e.g FF Legends, to Crystal Chronicals on GC (if they had the rights to do it), then FF1-FF12)

2nd disk would have extra content, and LOTS of it.

Then i'd release FFVII remade for the PS3.

That means people have the full collection on the PS3 on blu ray disks, then a separate package for the remake of FFVII.

But you know they wont do that, because since they went to Square-Enix from Squaresoft, they've not really done anything right...

EDIT: oh and by the way, ive just remembered you have the TV out port on the PSP so you can just connect that up and play your PSP games on a big screen

I seriously need to get a job so I can buy a PSP...and some new freakin games. Sony continues to amaze me more and more with their stuff.

Same here, after 5 minutes Im pissed off and wanting to throw my phone at the wall, especially with the size of my stupid buttons. Never have I owned a more annoying mobile. Not good for someone who is a text-a-holic

I wish they'd just stop with them...I loved FFVII, but I'm just getting tired of all this fanservice. Advent Children, fine. But did anybody actually want Dirge of Cerberus? Just leave FFVII alone, it was an amazing game in it's original form, crappy graphics and all.

kinda pisses me off when people say FFVII has crappy graphics. Maybe now they dont look good, but its 11 years old !!!!

Back when it first came out, it was graphically the best game out.

What really suprised me that FF 7 was the onyl one aside form FF 10 to get any sequels, and now with the newest game that came out for the PSP, it is the only FF game to have a prequel! But I agree that they shouldn't be making it for mobiel phones and such. Stick with the Play Station or at least the PSP!
