Don Corneo, 'Miss' Cloud, Mukki, Honey Bee Inn, MOG HOUSE!!! and Barret and Cid in general.... If it wouldn't be M Rated, or even a 12 or 15, I'd be shocked.

true true.. well ur rite then. if they remake it and it recieves a mature rating, they probably will change some parts of the game. They've never had an M rated game i dnt believe, and in order to insure younger gamers such as myself get it, they'll prob change somethin so it goes back to teen. somebody mentioned that it wouldnt effect how many people bought it, but i think it will. i no that my parents wont buy it for me if its rated M, and i have no way to get around it. :( i sure wish they wouldnt change it tho

Yes, yes god, a remake, plz!!
I think that SE should stop wasting money on all those other games that probbly wont even be as great as this one ^___^
There is nothing much you have to do to this game just a graphic update, that is all. They already said that they have done way too much damage with all the branches they added to VII but the thing is, they weren't thinking about the succes it would have...bastards. I really do think they still should.

I'm not with you in this one..There's lots of FF games like 4,7,8,10 that they actually have to make a remake for it coz it got one of the greatest story line ever.

Maybe the things they added will make it easier to play and to understand and even make the game better,who know?
In my opinion I think they have to make it -the remake I mean- coz it got real sucsess and become one of the strongest FF games ever.

What I want most in the Final Fantasy VII remake is an arranged or orchestrated soundtrack, instead of synthesized as in the original. It would be mostly orchestrated, with some rock-and-roll arrangements by the Black Mages band (featuring Nobuo Uematsu). The orchestral arrangements of "Main Theme of Final Fantasy VII", "Aerith's Theme", and "One Winged Angel" could also be reused for the remake. The remake would utilize the PS3's maximum graphical capability and have 7.1 channel audio. The grammatical errors present in the original will be corrected in the remake.

For anything about the media content ratings, Japan always wants the Final Fantasy games to retain an A rating, which is the least restricted rating of Japan's CERO. That would help avoid the ESRB's M rating. For Final Fantasy games, blood is restricted to FMVs. The M rating can hurt game sales.

Neat. That would be nice.
Would love to see a re-make though.. At least we get to see a better-quality Omnislash...?
And, for the first time, see how the weapons look like..?

you could see what the weapons look like. i liked ultimate weapon that diminished as you got weaker

this is officially the hardest question ever! i really want to replay ff7 with advent children like graphics but i really want to play ffxiii and if both were made at the same time they both end up being rubbish because SE didnt focus on either enough

i agree

if they made them one by one and set the remake off a year i could easily wait

then again part of me doesent want a remake because the original would lose that fuzzy feeling i get when i see those blocky hands

Yes. This would give SE a perfect chance to fix some inherant flaws within FF7. Things such as dodgy translation, glitches and the now famously bad graphics would all be a thing of the past. This is because SE has significantly improved at dealing with the game engine and current technology/techniques such as 3D rendering (remember FF7 was Squares first 3D game).

Another thing that could be improved was the overly easy difficulty level of the game, which reduced its replay value sustantially.

On top of all that they could even add EXTRA content that wasnt originally in the game such as new cutscenes, FMV's, materia, weapons and secrets.
