I dunno, its pretty uselss with out the 2nd disc innit? And what about the case??? My old copy snuffed it recently, so i had a shuffty round ebay and got the original black copy (in superb condion - may i add) for ten pounds. I am extremely fussy with my Final Fantasies - they have to be non platinum with the manuals. I have owned several copies of VII, VIII & IX and are worth their weight in gold but i think you may have got over excited in your purchase there mate

As long as you can get Disc 2 from your friend, or somewhere else for an equal or even cheaper price, you definitely made a good deal. Like everyone else has said, and like you saw for yourself, most of the time VII runs $30-$50 (and in some cases a hell of a lot more) on ebay, so you made a good purchase.
I love it when people respond to threads like this though, with comments like, "You got ripped off, I found a copy in a store near me for only $10!!1" Like you've never ever thought to look in stores around you, and like you decided to ignore a cheap copy sitting right in front of you 
I always want to comment to those people with, "Well go buy me a fucking copy and ship it to me."

Lol… That’s the thing I love about Garage sales or Mom & Pop stores, most of them really have no clue as to worth of certain items.
Anyway, do I think it’s a good price? Sure, it’d be a steal if you were able to get disc two completing the set. Either way, it’s still a pretty good find, especially if you can somehow get a hold of disc 2 for the same price.

Yeah, that's how much I payed for mine recently but it was brand new and factory sealed so I didn't really think it was too expensive.
That's a pretty good deal though, you were lucky to get it at that price. I don't like buying second hand games though, I always prefer to buy new. I hope the game works well for you anyway.  |

on ebay all 4 disks sell for around 75$ so i believe u got an awesome deal!!

dude you got jipped. For an incomplete set of FF7 I wouldn't have paid more than $5. My decision is probably biased as I own 2 complete copies of this falabulous game. On a side not you should go back and get the complete sets of FF8 and FF9. These were two great games as well and $20 for each is not a bad deal at all.
