Last/Lost Elixer?

when going down the crater to fight the final battle against Sephiroth, I came across an item. It was called a Last Elixer, or Lost Elixer, I dont remeber which. i tried to find it in the inventory but i could not find it. i even looked in the key items section I dont remember seeing it. was I alone on this?

Its no different from a normal elixer, Im pretty sure you will have one extra elixer in your inventory

I do remember thnking wtf it was going on bout, yeah maybe it might actually be the last elixer you pick up but theres no need to tell us that

i thought it was its own item, not the final elixer you find in the game.

Oh, I remember that happening to me too. It was included in your Elixir count, they just decided to be witty and give it its own unique name.

If I recall, it's actually not the last Elixer you can find. Which renders the entire concept of naming it as such to be quite... fruitless.

Yeah, really lame that was, I took it to be another translation error, silly people who translate these games

The Last Elixir is really a Megaelixir, by the way. But, yeah, the translation in VII was awful. It really does kill the drama in a few scenes. And, of course, there are a few other weird translations of items that really confused me. I can't think of any off the top of my head, unfortunately...

The 'Last Elixir' is actually a Megalixir. However it was originally supposed to be a different item but was changed to a Megalixir later in the game development as the said item was withdrawn from the game completely. It is also a translation error anyways.
