Aeris = TOO Powerful? - Page 4

i think that they should have made her first Level 2 limit break Fury Brand - as it's actually useful.

And if you think about it logically if you trained Aeris to her level 4 limit break it wouldnt be too illogical to say you could defeat most of the disk 1&2 bosses with ease - if only she had stuck around in disk 2 :(

If you're into magic heavy characters, then yes Aeris is powerful. Her limit breaks are the most useful.

However, I'm a purely physical oriented person, and she's dead last in that department.

FFVII was made in a way that anyone could be a great mage. Which is why I didn't care for Aeris gameplay-wise. Her limit breaks are useful, but the game is so easy that they're not even needed.

Enemy Skill is the best materia you can get. Put that on anyone and they'll be great mages, healers, magic attackers.

I said no that she isn't "too" powerful. Of course her limits are quite useful for your parties recovery, but she wasn't too strong toward the enemies.

If you put her in the front line she actually does pretty good damage. I always give her long reach materia.

I'm somewhat of a new player to FFVII and I didn't understand what front line meant till I figured it out and I did put her in front line and she does good damage now. Thanks for the tip!

I'll still say, she's not "too" powerful, but she is strong.

Hmmm, Tough One, I Never Really Used Aeris First Time Round Because She Was Weak And Didn't Really Come Up To The Standards That I Needed Her At, And It Doesn't Help That I Ran Through Most Of This Game First Time Round B ecause I Wanted To See What Happend At The End. (I was 7! Gimme A Break!

when i mean too powerful im on about her limit breaks - and how amazingly powerful they are. they are very easy to obtain in Disk one and you could use them for some of the toughest battles in disk one. but imagine having her final limit breaks in other disks?

-It's pretty obvious they gave her moves like Great Gospel because of the fact that she dies, so shes very useful until shes not usable.
