Who is Gogo???

ONe of the characters that I found most interesting was the mysterious Gogo. did the game ever go further into Gogo's story, like is Gogo male or female, or why the hell he/she was in the triangle island?
please I'm a little curious.

Isn't there a theory that Gogo is actually Gilgamesh. After all...he does resemble the popular and frequently appearing Gilgamesh.

There's another theory that Gogo is actually emporer Gestahl.

they should make something going further into the character of Gogo, and why he/she has that mimic ability.

Gogo is by far one of the most random characters ever...right next to Quina. Gogo was only useful in some situations...
Not very handy in boss fights. =\

but was still very interesting to have around because Gogo was random and fit in, in no way what so ever

Now that I think about it...Did Gogo have any dialouge in the entire game?

I don't believe so. when you run into gogo it says something about how mysterious gogo is and you can't tell if gogo is male or female.

Gogo is mystery but that is one of the things why FF6 is great.
He/she has been theorized to be:
Emperor Gestahl (he fell on some random location but IMO he died)
Daryl ( I like this she crashed on some far a way island)
Gogo from FFV (why not he fell on another dimension)
Sephiroth (okay this one I made up for no reason)
