Who do you use in your party?

Well seeing as FFVI boasts the most characters ever who do you use in your main party/who are you planning on using in your main party?

I am going to use:

Celes - Because she is an excellent mage and swordswoman plus Runic is invaluable - also shes my favourite character

Locke - because i like keeping him with Celes

and because his stats rock and Steal is vital

Terra - Same reason as Celes

4th character - havnt decided yet - probably cyan or Sabin or maybe edgar or maybe Mog for the hell of it

I tend to alternate between diffrent 'teams' in-game, switching after they've gained certain amount of levels or learned a number of spells currently avalible to me:

Terra, Edgar, Shadow, Setzer
Celes, Locke, Sabin, Mog
Relm, Strago, Cyan, Gogo
Umaro is the odd one out but does get abit of action from time to time, and I hardly ever use Gau.

Or sommit like that, they tend to change.

In the end-game where everyones pretty much learned everything, my main team would be:

Celes, for her magical power and Runic ability.
Edgar, for his Tools such as Auto-Crossbow, Chainsaw and Debliterator etc
Locke, for his steal command
Gogo, to mimic unused character abilitys. I cba to check atm but if Lore and Blitz can be mimicked then I'd choose them.

Cyan - Use him because i like him
Sabin - He is very powerful with bum rush and other things
Celes - I put her evade and magic evade to the max so she cant die
Locke - Steal and dish out damage

This is one game where I have a lot of trouble choosing a party because I like all the characters and want to use them all.

I will usually always have Terra in my party because I really like her. And I try to alternate everyone else. I like using Saban a lot cause he's a badass.

That's cute. I like to keep Balthier and Fran together on FF12.

Well, I don't have the Advance version, but back in the day I liked Celes, Terra, Edgar and Cyan. Celes is good for both her physical and magical strength, and I'm going to have to agree with Aeris Gainsborough about Runic. Terra was always on my team (whenever possible), and transforming into an esper is just fun. Edgar has a tool to fit every battle situation, and Cyan's strength with a sword is too much to pass up.

If I had a choice, at the point I at in the game, it'd be Locke, Terra, Celes, and Shadow.

In the FF6 world there are alot of Lame Characters.
IE Relm, Setzer, Gau

But some good ones are Gogo(2nd Fav), Locke, Sabin, Edgar Cyan and Mog.

The reason I say Mog is becuase of his moogle which stops encounters.
(Good for 3-2 party dungeons where you want to have a Strong Party)

Here's who i'll use in my team in FFVI:

Sabin - Because i'm master of using blitz
Edgar - Chainsaw anyone!!
Terra
Cyan - his cool sword abilities and the fact that i equipped the offering relic as well as the genji gloves

I normally use either
Locke- Hes my Fav in it and same reason as Aeris
Cyan- Love the sword tech's and hes a samurai

Edgar- another fav and hes moves are really useful
Celes- Magic and Swords + runic and has to be with Locke
or
Shadow- throw and interceptor
Edgar- see above
Cyan- see above
Terra- Same as Celes cept with the morph skill

Well at this point in time we use Sabin, Celes, Edgar, Mog. Some really powerful hitters we got =P
