Barheim Passage - POWER

Hey Guys,

I really need your help i've been stuck on the Barheim Passage for the past 3 weeks and im annoyed.
its horrible. the mimics are killing me, im stuck, i always die, none of my caracthers has Blizzard.
I have the official guide book, but i can't do anything about it, i do step by step what it says, and it does not work at all.

Its horrible. Can anyone help?

It depends on what LVL your Characters are, it's always good to have your characters 2 or 3 LVLs higher than the recommended LVL in the Official Guide if you are new to the game - if their not however, the Battery Mimics will dispose of you easily in the Bahreim Passage.

i've tried non stop killing...
and i have not stop "Game Overing"

set your gambits so that one or more players are consatantly healing you and attacking at the same time.
right.
now go into the first room after you have opend the gate go in kill all the enemys and return to the room with the crystal. heal your characters and go back out they will be a few more there again kill them if needed go heal yourself go into the next room (make sure your gambits are still on) and take out the mimic. once its killd go up kill the little mimic and the bats along the way and go up the right path. if this too much go back through the door you came there should be no monsters, heal yourself and go back through the passage way. continue upwards killing all the enemys if the enemys get too much you lose magick power etc. go back through the way you came and run around so your magick gets back up then heal and then go back. it takes a while but thats how i doneit. tis method is also useful for training.

Make sure two or more characters have a Gambit set to Ally: HP <70%: Cure, because if you think these Monsters are hard wait until you get at the end of it and fight the Queen Mimic Boss

I'll let you in on what I done...

I ran the whole way! I faced a few monsters, but I ran the whole length. I couldn't get past the second mimic, but, I eventually killed it and just ran the rest. :\ I was on my last legs when I got there... but, you could just use the people's above replies... but, it's always an idea. ;D

If you are really really stuck, you could always restart. Its not like you're very far in the game anyways so it wouldn't hurt that bad. At least try leveling up your characters so they wont be the same lvl as they are now when you reach this area again.

The first time I went in there to go after the Esper in the Pasage I tried to run the whole way. I ended up getting to the place where you get teh Barheim Candle which gives you access to the mini-map, but a few zombies ate my brains out and I died.

So basically I just went back later in the game when I was a few levels stronger, bought some more gambits from the shops, and found a few more powerful weapons.
