Best ever FF Soundtrack?

Im obsessed with the ff6 soundtrack (even got it on my psp) think it has to be the best soundtrack ever for a ff game....any rpg even. So do u agree and if so whats your favorite song from it? Mines is either the Decisive Battle or Celes Theme....post your thoughts

My favorites are the Aria/Celes' Theme, Terra's Theme, and Locke's Theme.

I dunno about this being the best, but it is a really good one. The problem is, while it does have some amazing tracks, it also has some really annoying ones as well.

yeha this game does have a great soundtrack ilike the the song in the last part of the game where you are on the last overworld map ( i forgot the name)

Overall, I think this one does have the best one. The only one that comes close, or maybe ties with it is FFIX's. I just hope that when they do the DS version they come out with a completely redone score. The MIDI version's sound is okay, but better would be great.

Personally, my favorite song on the whole thing is easily "The Coin Song." The version on the Piano Collection is just magnificent.

What? Has a DS version for VI been confirmed, or are we just assuming things based on the remake of IV?

No, it hasn't. It's just a VERY likely scenario, considering what has been done with the Advance remakes, and that IV followed III on DS. I would be far more surprised if at least one of them isn't announced within the next year than if they did.

I'd have to agree that this soundtrack is the best. I own VI, VII, and VIII's soundtracks. VI is the one that I skip through the least. Sure there's some boring tracks, but very few in comparison to the other FF games.

VII probably has the best overall tracks, (Aeris's theme, OWA, Overworld music) but so many of the other tracks suck and many are very monotonous that I find my self skipping through many of them to get to the ones I like. And since VII is a four CD sound track, my favorite tracks are all on different CD's so constantly changing CD's can get quite annoying.

VI has three CD's but I like most of the tracks on those CD's so it's rather nice to listen to.

Terra's Theme = best song of all time. I don't know what it is about that song but I just love it. The flute gives it a kind of sorrowful, foreboding sound, but at the same time the melody and the drum give it a hopeful feel. That's the best explanation I can come up with, but the song gave me chills the first time I actually stopped playing and listened to it.

IX soundtrack is also incredibly good, and while no song can even touch Terra's Theme, Kuja's songs come veeeery close.

I always use the ff6 bestiary for the gba to listen to the soundtrack which is pretty decent is u dont own the cd's...I have to agree Terras theme is one of the best song in the ff series,But the Boss battle always catches my attention (just learned it on the guitar

)

Final Fantasy VI soundtrack is one of my favorites. My favorite tracks are Terra's theme, Celes, Catastrophe, Devil's lab and Another world of Beasts.

Ah, I love Dancing mad.

It's one of my favorite final battle themes.
