There is no Omega WEAPON in FFVI, but you do have to face Atma WEAPON 2x during the actual game, with the second time being in Kefka's Tower at the end. The second one is optional and you can easily pass him if you don't mind skipping a save crystal in there as well. But yeah, no Omega.

Wait what? Are you talking about after fighting Atma Weapon? YOu first fight him on the Floating Island. After you defeat him sequences will take place and you will now be in the World of Ruin. The second time you face him you have to beat him to make way to a save spot in Kefka's Tower.

There is no Omega Weapon in FF VI for the SNES or PS, but there IS in FF VI Advance.

Ultima WEAPON (mistranslated as Atma WEAPON in english vesions of the game, fixed for FFVI:A tho) is found on the Floating Continant in the WoB.

Ultima BUSTER (Mistranslated simply as Atma in english vesions of the game, fixed for FFVI:A tho) is found in Kefka's Tower in WoR.

Omega WEAPON is a new super-boss added to the GBA version of the game. I can't recall where your supposed to find it but I'm persuming its a new cave of some sort. It hasn't been released over here yet so havent botherd to check for myself yet.

Dangit, see that's one reason taht pulls me to root against these remakes. I'd be fine if they left the story-line alone and such and even the optional junk. Just fix the graphics, quit adding stuff to the newer games. Confuse'n the hell outta me. I know that if a FFVII remake comes along, they'll dick that up to. :-/

What people have to understand is that the GBA FF's are not actually remakes, but rerealeses. Simple ports of an already exsistant game that their target market have already played time and time again. It needs change to give insentive to buy. New optional side quests are perfect! I for one have finished FF VI several times and realy look forward to playing it again and explore the new areas, fight new super-bosses for a harder challange than before, and gain new Espers.

If they were proper remakes, like so many people want for FF VII, then the inclusion of new areas and side quests aren't neccassary because the new shiny look is all the insentive needed to buy the game, Graphicly FF VI Avance is very similar and the story hasn't changed. would I buy a game thats almost exactly the same as I've already got? no, would you? stupid if you would...

All I can say is...Omega WEAPON, your going DOWN! with or without the help of my shiny new Espers; Leviathan, Gilgamesh and Cactuar!

Diablos is a new one(In FF6:A)....Also if a FF7 remake is released...I hope action Replay will bring back Aeris....Great Gospel is so useful..and it would work great with Ruby Weapon.
