Kefka: The Villian
I remember talking with my friend about Kefka. I told him he was my favorite villian, as I'm sure is for many of you. But my friend disagreed, and he pointed something out to me that I hadn't really realized before.
"He's just so cliche". And he's right. He's probably the most cliche villian (at least from the ones I've seen). He's malovelent, he's constantly laughing and having fun. Haven't we seen this before?
Kefka is original as a Final Fantasy villian (none of the other FF villians are like him), but not if we just look at him as a villian.
Personally, I have trouble calling him my favorite villian anymore, because of the cliche' of it all. I still like him, though.

He may be Cliche, but he's still a pretty amazing Villain. His mental problems, his lust for power and his cunning and Ruthlessness make him one of my favorite villains ever.

Hmmm have to admit, Kefka was the real deal, and he's the first villain to really ruin things and cause massive permenant damage, and he makes me laugh unlike other villains.

Well he may be a little cliche but he's one of the only villians ever to actually accomplish his goal. And they didn't try to make me feel bad for him by giving him such a horrible past...
