Yes, yes, yes and yes! Personally I think the vast majority of numbered Final Fantasy are worth getting, exceptions being FFXI, FFX-2 (Which in my opinion isn't that bad), and any game from the FF7 Complication- Er, Complimation that isn't Crisis Core.

I personally think Final Fantasy VI is the best in the series, by those opinions aside I would have to say that anyone who enjoyed Final Fantasy VII will probably enjoy VI. I knew many people who were disappointed at how drastically different VIII, IX, and X were from VII, but loved VI when I showed it to them. Both allow you to customize your party from a large cast of well developed characters (much more than previous and later final fantasies), both have hidden characters, both allow for a lot of character customization while keeping each character unique, they both have similar themes of technology versus nature as well as dark dystopian elements to their stories, and overall the plots of both games are very similar but still unique.

I think this is one of the best of the series...I love the magic learning system. It allows every character to use magic in addition to their special skills. I also like the fact that the magic is permanent...the only other games to run like that are FFX and FFXII. Unlike those games, however, it doesn't form characters that are identical in the end game. In addition, the storyline is very well developed despite the large cast of playable characters, a fact that I found refreshing. Each character is their own creature, and they are all available in the end game.

Final Fantasy VI in my opinion is very much worth getting and is also probably the greatest Final Fantasy.
If you do not think that it is the greatest Final Fantasy I have proof. The show X-Play gives many games ratings out of 5, but only very few have got a 5 out of 5, and every game that has really deserved it and are awesome. Final Fantasy VI was the only Final Fantasy to get a 5 out of 5 and they also voted it best out of all of the Final Fantasy's. I think that's pretty impressive, seeming how X-Play isn't biased and they usually don't judge so lightly.
Final Fantasy VI has been my favorite since I was introduced to the series. It has great characters, great plot, and also very great music. If your thinking about buying this game, definately do it, it's sweet! I don't know if it's as good as it is for the Playstation/Super Nintendo as it is on the Game Boy Advance because I never got it for the GBA. Though I think it would be good on any system. Anyways, that's about all I have to say.

I think that FFVI has got to be one of the best of the series!
The storyline is perfect, the graphics are quite neat for its bit and time!
Being remastered for the PSONE was awsome and then it was again released on GBA where they added touches from the new FF games such as the healing items! FFVI was the 2nd game I played in the FF series and it is quite memerable, and I keep going back to it now.
Is It Worth Getting? Definitly.

Well, I'm still playing this game...haven't finished it yet, but from what I gathered so far, a definite game to get. I just have the Playstation version, but I'm thinking of getting it for the GBA as well since I'm not really that far off into the game yet. Probably 1/4, I would say. Still, I've read great reviews in this forum and other sites, and from what I've seen on my playing experience, it's a confirmation that it is indeed a very good game!

Definitely worth getting. Somany characters to fall in love with and a villain that makes you want to rip his face off, but you can't stop laughing at him. Probably one of the most intense final places to do battle as well as you have to utilize each and every one of your top 12 characters in order to navigate around the tower.
Probably the most memorable part is the end of the World of Balance when it turns into the World of Ruin and you see how much of hte world has changed. Crazy, but it's motivation to carry on and rid the world of the one causing so much pain and suffering. Buy the game for the tory, the characters, and a great piece of Final Fantasy history.
