FF3(6JP) Movie

Movie 1 - Final Fantasy: War of the Magi
**Its before terra and everyone. Gives the back story, you remember fromt he game right? lol =P

Movie 2 - Final Fantasy: New Beginnings
**Based off the World of Balance. All the things from that part of the game. Floating Cont., Opera House, Espers (want to do a great background on this), etc.

Movie 3 - Final Fantasy: Devistated World
**As you can see this would be for the World of Ruin. As at the beginning of the movie you see clips from the 2nd one then it goes to Celes. =D

Also, the names of the movies havent been picked except for the first one. But the other two are under "construction" you could say on names. But I wanted to give you an idea of the names though ya know? lol

Anyways, Ok now that ive told you about the movies lets get down to characters. One of my fav. parts.

In order of appearence in game:

Terra - Kate Beckinsale
Locke - Matt Damon or Colin Ferral
Edgar - Guwen Mcgregor (Obi Wan from Star Wars)
Sabin - Vin Diesal
Celes - Terra Reid (American Pie ring a bell?)
Cyan - Clive Owens
Shadow - Keifer Sutherland (24?)
Gau - Haly Joel Osment
Setzer - Pierce Brosnan
Strago - Jean Luc Picard (ehh Star Trek Guy =P)
Relm - Dakota Fanning
GoGo - If yall come up with one, tell meh =P
Umaro - Ron Pearlman (Hellboy)
Mog - Computer Animated

Now for other:
Kefka - Jim Carey
Gestaul - Chris Lee
Leo - Dennis Haysberg
Baron - Samuel L. Jackson

I know we didn't name all the characters in the game, BUT its in the making, well wanting to be in the making. Me and my bro have been working on scripts for it already. There will be a whole new line of characters for the first movie. But I wanted to get on here, and see what you guys think of it. Well I hope you enjoy what you see, and if you have any imput on this, please give it to us, wether its harsh, positive, or critizes it. Just let us know. Thanks guys, and glad that im here =D!

Well I got a few reactions from it in the first post I did. But I wanted it to be in the appropriate area. So what do you think of it? Is it good? Bad? What of the characters? The characters we have would be extremely nice to have all in one movie, but we know thats not possible. We'd get no-name actors/actresses. But forsay if it came out in theaters, would you go see it? Just wanted to get a reaction from Final Fantasy players and such. Were just brainstorming. I know ppl are creative, so tell meh some things. Thanks again for the welcome everyone.

Since the real FFIII for the NES is now released in the US, FFVI is now VI in the US.

Hmm... If they made a movie of it, I would want it to be a CGI movie like Advent Children. For some reason, I don't like the idea of live action Final Fantasy.

If they were going to do a movie of the War of the Magi, I'd rather it be a prequel than the first movie.

I agree, but It would probably be better with live action characters in your case.
-how long would each movie be? are you cutting some of the scenes from the game?

Like I said, it would be like a LOTR kinda thing. With plenty of action sequences and such. I dont know about cutting scenes from the game though. that would depend on the producers and such. but like I said, its just a wanna be thing. Just to see what ppl think of it.

i think that would be amzing, lol, jim carey as Kefka would be perfect, although he would be no where hear as good as the guy that played him in the cosplay on this forum, he was awesome, perfect even i'd say.

Not sure how you'd pull off the actors and everything, but it could be a possible movie. I think though for it to be a real success, you'd have to shoot for your hopes and dreams and make it rich first. Good luck with how it turns out though man.

Yeah, a cast like that would cost more then the Titanic. But I'd surely go see a movie based off of Final Fantasy VI, although like Rydia said, live action Final Fantasy is a little odd, but I could adjust to it, and I'd like it (as long as the plot is consistant with the game) as much as I would if it was a CG movie.

Yes, I'd love to see this, in short.

I couldn't imagine Tara Reid as Celes. Need someone with a more beautiful voice rather than Tara's which sounds like a 40 year old women who has smoked for the past 15 years of her life.
