It's one of those very typical final fantasys, althouh I think the story line was abit slack at the beginning it does pick up, ooo that ExDeath was evil! But the battle system with the jobs and how hard things get near the end, it sure is quite a challenge.

I'm going to be really negative on it here. The storyline was OK to start out with, but they tried to make it too intense and suspenseful, which was their downfall, and by the end it was unbearable. The characters were pretty poor too I thought. They had depth to them, but the interaction between them seemed very forced and put on; almost as if they were being forced to travel together (I suppose technically they are, but you get my meaning). The job system was OK too, but it took far too long to master a job so it was pretty hard to get really powerful characters
So I'd say get it if you want to throw your money away. There's far better games out there
And PLEASE type out your words for everyone's sanity. This is a forum, not a text message

From the title I can answer like this.... From my experience just about any game that says Final Fantasy is worth buying. The older titles are less money and still worth getting.
