Secret Baku ending?
I heard that if you keep Cinna's Hammer in your inventory till the end you get a secret ending with Baku in it. All I got was the troop doing I Wanna Be Your Canary, ending with Zidane and Garnet together. Was that the secret ending? Did anyone get something other than that?

What you describe is the ending which everyone gets. To be honest having Cinna's Hammer only adds one or two short extra scenes to the performance of the play at the end as far as I remember. It's nothing massive that will change how you see the ending anyway.

That happens to everyone I believe.
I beat Hades I remember, I just couldn't get the other Pumice Piece or something like that. I haven't played this game in so long.
I don't the extra scenes endings are a big deal though, and I don't think Baku is in it. |

Yeah, I figured that's the ending everyone gets. I didn't see anything too "secret" about it. I did get the cloud and squall line, which I thought was cute, but I think everyone gets that too. As far as I could see, there was nothing different about keeping the hammer.

I don't recall getting the Cloud and Squall comment. I've tried looking it up on YouTube but I couldn't find it.

All the hammer does is add one extra dialogue box when Zidane's performing in the play.
He says, "No Cloud nor Squall shall hinder us."
There's no additional Baku as far as I know. You might be thinking of Ruby's Intervention at the very start of the game if you say "Kidnap Queen Brahne" at the very start of the game 63 times to Baku.
If you're interested, Ruby comes in and says something like,
"Gosh, you're more stubbon than a mule, aren't you Zidane?"
So yeah.

Intresting to know. Im towards the end of FF9 that im playing on my PSP, i have all the items stated above, so once i have got around to completing the game i'll tell you what it says.
