Bahamut is really close with quetzalcoatl from viii I loved his animation with all the lightning shooting all over the place(I renamed him Blitzkreig) so yeah they are my favorite.

I liked all the eidolons in FFIX.

Yeah, Phoenix was in IX. It was Eiko's third Eidolon.

I just adore Bahamut in this game. It looks so frickin powerful! (Purple fire too! ) I love the burst of electricity that surges from his body before he attacks.

Amen to that. You seriously cannot beat those three in any of the games. I love those summons in every single game and FFIX is no exception.

It may have been weird, but it was definitely the most effective when you're training up your characters against Yans... Although my favourite is probably Bahamut.. And did anyone else think that Shiva looked better in VIII than IX?

No, I think Shiva's design in FFIX was beautiful. <3
She was kind of plain in FFVIII.
FFVIII's Shiva was just one step up from FFVII's.
