Necro
Necros or Necron? My version of the game said Necron. So why do people keep saying Necros? There are too many people saying Necros for it to be just a coicidence. Is that how it's spelled in the European version?

Yeah, the name is Necron. Its probably one of those stupid things that people spell differently, like NEWB. People spell it newb, noob, n00b, and probably more. Bastards.

It's definitely Necron. I did a google search "necros FFIX" and it'll say, "did you mean necron FFIX?" But yeah, some say it Necros although that's not official. It's probably how different countries chose to say it. Kinda like Aeris and Aerith?

I have the European version, and it's Necron on ours. I think it must be a cock-up of someone's memory
@Avin: Yep. In the original Japanese FFVII, she was called Aerith, but in the Japanese language, 'th' is pronounced as 's' and there was a subsequent mistranslation, resulting in Aeris. It's been rectified by SE, and in the compilation, she's known as Aerith
I still prefer Aeris though...
