So from what I see Necron was the hardest boss, He was annoying uses grand cross.

The hardest boss for me has to be Ozma he is probaly the hardest of all boses in the FF series :(

I thought one of the hardest bosses is the final fight with Beatrix. It came really suddenly, and so I hadn't healed everyone. I got my arse handed to me on a plate. The stupid thing is that I always forget you don't have a chance to heal and the same thing happens everytime

I don't really rate Beatrix as a tough boss. Sure, you have to hold up for a certain period of time (which ended up being HUGE during the third fight against her), but she only ever attacked one person at a time. With the obvious exception of Stock Break and Climhazzard, she couldn't ever do shit to me. Oh, Shock did a fair bit of damage, but again, single person.
But other than the two I already mentioned, I can't really think of a boss which gave me trouble. I can think of normal monster fights which gave me more grief... =/

shock did kill me in 1 hit though :(
700 for the first fight and i only had 500 hp max
the three battles with silver dragon garland and kuja was a bit hard i suppose

Despite what most of you say I found Necron to be rediculsly easy. As for hardest Id have to say Trance Kuja.

Necron hands down. I beat him easily when I was at level 40 with my main guns of characters, but then I level up, do a buncha sidequests, and he kills me quickly when I'm at level 70ish. WTF?

God my FFIX is so messed up. My hardest boss used to Necron...
But now it's effin Trance Kuja. You try beating him with the only people your game lets you have which are all below LV50 (excluding one) with only two of them with there final weapon
Freya LV43 - Weapon: Kain's Lance HP: High 3000s
Quina LV50- Weapon: Bistro Fork HP: Low 3000s
Dagger/Garnet/Sarah LV64- Weapon: Tiger Racket HP: Mid 2000s
Eiko- LV34 Weapon: Angel Flute HP: High 1000s

The hardest boss imo was that book you could fight.. hes a optional boss in alexandria? Man was he a pain. I believe his name was Tantarian or w/e and you could only fight him on disc 3?

Holy shit, the book guy? I completely forgot about him. I remembered reading about him and thinking "Hmm... screw that". Yea, he's suppose to be really tough and you have to find him in certain pages of books and crap. Yea, that's ridiculous.
