I dont mind either name... its sort of a switch for me... depending the situation that she is in... and Dagger is cool name though I changed it to Daggyr when I named her... heh XD

Garnet, of course. I really love that name. I'm thinking of naming one of my daughters that in the future. 
Dagger doesn't really suit her. It's a weird name, I think...

i never got used to calling her dagger cause its a wierd name for a noble young princess to have. i just call her garnet

I prefer the name Garnet (it happens to be the name of my girlfriend ) but i usually refer to the character as Dagger. I've never actually thought of keeping her name as Garnet during the game.

I hate the name 'Dagger' for her, but with it being said through most of the game, I can't help but use it in speech. Even when I rename her, I say to myself "but she's Dagger... waaaaaait."
I prefer the name Garnet though. Sounds regal in itself.

Yep, I agree with Saix almost completely on this one. Dagger isn't fitting at her. She's about a scary as a baby panda bear. lol I just don't see anything "sharp" or "lethal" about her at all. Garnet, in comparison, is a very pretty and regal sounding name. I think that name fits her character personally.
Side question, is her real name Garnet since she's from Madain Sari originally?

I didn't find out what her name was after playing it a few times. I'd never really bothered to get everything in the game until... my tenth play-through. :p
Suffice to say, I was severely disappointed with what it turned out to be.

That name's bland?  I actually wanted to change my real name to that...
But yeah, I also forgot about her real name until now. I've always viewed her as Garnet, and ONLY Garnet. Not some dagger.
