I think you're right, a more perfectly suited piece of music they could not have chosen for that scenario, I didn't particularly like the style but I could appreciate the emotion it portrayed. I'd be pushed to find a piece in that game that I didn't like.

Indeed. Great tune, great scene. One of my favourites in the game. Most of the tunes are great, mind you.

Had to look it up on Youtube because I don't know the names of the songs of IX very well, but I had the feeling it was the one I was thinking of and was right. I really liked it, one of the most memorable tunes of the game and the scene that goes with it was pretty cool too. Couldn't say I was 'touched' tho.
