When did you first play this game? - Page 2

this was the first final fantasy game i played (actually right before ffVII) and it was the snes version. i think i was 13.

I played this gem of a game through good old emu.(obviously I emulated the snes version).

1996 when I was 6. I was terrible at it, since it was on Active. I beat it when I was 7.

ive played the snes version but that was ages ago and i was like 7-8 (yes many years after it was released)
i gotta say that the snes version is 1000000x harder than the gba version

I've always beaten this game with around level 60 characters. it didn't depend on the version maybe i'm just really lucky

it was like my favorite game in my grade school years.

I first played it when it was released as part of the FF Anthology. It was actually the very first FF i ever played and it was given to me as a birthday present. Before i had no interest in the FF series so without it i might not have gotten into the series and became the huge fan i am now. Because of this FFIV remains my all time favourite FF.

When I first got my SNES in elementary school, I used to go to the flea market and there would be this guy there selling toooons of games. I bought Mystic Quest off of him and after that I was hooked on FF. I asked him if he had any more games and he was selling II and III for SNES. I first played it in elementary school but beat it last year after starting it over again. FFIII doesn't work anymore
